Saying Hello...

The swim season and spring are winding down. League Championships are this upcoming Saturday. I will most definitely be there as our boys are poised to take another league title. I have been fortunate to be able to attend a number of the swim meets this spring. It is truly impressive the commitment that so many of our boys made this season to swim. 40+ boys on the team! For some, swimming is a lot of fun. For others, it is a necessary tool to be a better water polo player. We hope that for most of our boys they can say "yes" to both of those reasons for swimming. It truly is a great sport and so important to your skills as a water polo player. I have already seen some significant changes, maturation, and improvement in countless boys. Quite impressive were some of the speed gains, technique improvments, not to mention muscle and height increases by many of the boys.
We are gearing up for another great season.
We will be doing some summer weight training and polo skills practices here at the high school. More details on dates/times to follow.
More importantly I would like to stress the importance of playing Legacy Water Polo (www.legacypolo.com). It is important to be in shape and a fast swimmer, but more importantly you must continue to learn this game. The only way you learn is by playing.
Decide...Commit...Succeed...
Don't be a "1-2x/weeker". Be committed to it and you will reap the rewards.

The season nears...Be Ready...
