Our Pre-Season Banquet is this Friday August 20th at 5:45 pm at the Carmel High School Cafeteria.
We ask that all boys and at least one parent from each family attend - this includes freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors -even if your family has been involved in Carmel Boys Water Polo previously. Other family members are welcomed as well!
We ask each family bring a potluck dish. As general guidance - let's try this:
- Freshman and Sophomore families: Bring a main dish or substantial salad
- Junior families: Bring side dish
- Senior families: Bring dessert
The Boys Water Polo Club will provide drinks and all of the paper goods and cutlery.

And now for my annual note...
For those families who are just starting in the Boys Water Polo Program - this program is absolutely one of the best athletic programs at Carmel High. The impact of the program goes far beyond building tremendous athletes to building tremendous young men. In addition to being pushed to maximize their potential athletic ability (as you've noticed from your sons aching muscles and the emptiness of your refrigerator) - the coaches emphasize the importance of team work, leadership development, and character. Their experience with this team will impact them beyond high school graduation throughout their entire lives. (Plus we parents have a great time watching - - even if we have no idea what's going on in the pool.) The coaches are all amazing men! We are extremely fortunate that they choose to spend their time with our boys. Welcome to the big Water Polo family!
