Just want to address a concern I have. I have had a number of JV and freshman parents email me and explain why their child will miss certain tournaments, games, etc. Although many have been for good reasons, family, etc,. It leaves our teams and program in quite a bind numbers wise. Please remember that especially at the freshman level, their games are limited as there are few programs in our section that even have freshman teams. A freshman missing a tournament (3 games) is essentially almost 20% of their season. I encourage all parents to analyze the schedule and please plan accordingly.

P.S. Think about making the tournament a sort of family event. Go watch your son play, bring your kids and family members. Make a day out of it. Just a suggestion.
