Freshman are going to play a scrimmage against Monterey on Friday at practice. JV will practice from 5-6 and go home, freshman will start at 6 and scrimmage until 7:30and then cover the pool.

JV bus departs at 7:15 for Hollister on Saturday. Games are at 9:00, 12:45 and 3:00. Should be back to CHS about 5:00.

We had a severe problem Tuesday running the desk for the JV game. We needed 3, preferably 4 people to assist and only one was available. Some varsity parents pitched in to help and then did the varsity game. I was making mistakes running the clock because of the interruptions trying to cover all that was going on. Please make yourself available to learn how to keep the books and stats so you can step in and assist. We will be doing more training at Hollister. Please get involved with the team and your sons if your schedule allows. The scoring desk has the best view at the pool.

There will be no transportation available from CUSD for the freshman tournament at Bellarmine on 18 Sep. We will probably need at least 3 cars to transport the team. I have a schedule conflict so we are also looking for someone to assist coach Ed with equipment and stats. Please let me know if you can drive and how many you can carry.
