Busy end of season coming up

We are approaching the end of the polo season and things are going to start getting pretty hectic. We need everybody assistance in getting the job done and making a good impression on visitors.
Tuesday we have an away game @ Aptos for all 3 teams. I expect departure will be about 2:00 so talk to your teachers if you are going to miss class.
That weekend the varsity hosts their home tournament on Friday and Saturday with 12games (3 Friday starting at 4:00 and 9 Saturday starting at 8:00) that will need a desk to run the shot/game clock, scoring system, keep the home book for all games and team stats for our 3 games. Varsity plays at 5:00 on Friday and 11:00 and 4:00 on Saturday. Some of the polo mom's are gearing up to run a snack bar for both tournaments to help support the team expenses. If you are able to help contact Ann Thornburgh. Players can sign up for assisting and get "community service" credit. Coach Ed has ordered tournament t-shirts that will be on sale for $12 which will also raise money for the team. It takes about $4000/year to fund the teams.
The week of 24 Oct JV/V play Soquel on Tuesday at Soquel JV & Cabrillo College V and then Stevenson on Thursday at home.
The JV/frosh home tourney starts at 4:00 on Friday with 4 games. Freshman play at 4:55 and 6:45 and JV at 5:50. The 10 games on Saturday start at 8:00 with frosh playing at 8:55 and 12:35 and JV at 2:25 and 4:15. This means there are 14 games at this tournament that need the scoring table manned with at least 3 people for all games and 5 people for games our teams are involved in. The snack bar will be in operation again and players are encouraged to sign up to assist when not playing.
Come and get involved as much as is possible. Many hands make light work.
