As you know championships are this week and CCS the following week. I got my signals crossed with Aaron on the schedule and posted the CCS Wed game two weeks from now as championships for this week. The correct schedule is as follows:
Tuesday: Stevenson plays at 4:00
Carmel plays Aptos at 5:00
Thursday: Good chance Carmel will play at 4:00 or 5:00. More later
As mentioned earlier, admission is collected at championship games to recover referee fees. We need two, preferably four JV or frosh boys to man the admission table and to collect money starting immediately after school. Community service credit is earned. Please let Coach Rodger or Aaron know it you can help Tuesday or Thursday.
Championship games will be Saturday Nov 3, probably at Watsonville. More later

On Wed 7 Nov, two or three CCS first round games will be played at CHS. If championships go well, Carmel will be playing in one of the games. More to follow.

Another slight change to awards night. Since the teams have gotten so big, it is difficult to get through all awards and recognition without a marathon meeting when dinner is part of the event. This year to help solve that issue, it was decided to have the meeting be desert and beverages vice dinner. Still at Sanctuary Bible Church but has been moved to 7-9 vice 6-8 so people can have time to eat at home and come for desert. More details to follow.
