Just a heads up to our Water Polo families for planning purposes on this Friday night (in case your sons don't mention it to you).

The CHS ASB  planned two events that overlap with  the times of our Water Polo Parent Information Banquet.  

5:30 - 7:00 pm  Senior BBQ

7:00 - 10:00 pm School Dance in the Gym

Seniors, we hope you join us for food at 6pm, then head over to the Senior event.

Dear Water Polo Parents:

This year, to avoid the voluminous emails and phone calls that you receive during water polo season as you are continually asked to bring snack bar items and supplies, we are offering each family the option of making a $75 donation to the water polo program (payable to CHS/ASB) thereby obtaining protection from these repetitive supply requests OR you may send out Donation Forms (will be available for pick up Fri. night) to as many people as necessary in order to get the $75.00.  We expect a 100% participation rate on this. If you are so inclined, feel free to make the $75 donation AND send out Donation Forms.  The more we make, the more equipment and apparel we are able to buy for the team. Families will continue to be assigned a snack bar supply list until the $75 is paid. (i.e. ketsup, cheese, meat, cases of water, etc.)  We will also continue to circulate general emails among all families asking if anyone would like to make certain homemade items that are always welcomed at the snack bars, i.e. a pot of chili, baked goods, breakfast burritos, etc. but these items will be optional.  We are still required to staff the snack bars and your $75 donation is not in lieu of that assistance.  If you choose the option of paying $75 Friday night, which will expedite your removal from the "harassment" list, please find the donation table that will be set up in the cafeteria and one of our volunteers will happily mark you down as "paid."  On Sept. 5th we will begin emailing out reminders which list the names of those  who still need to make their donations.  Thank you to all of you!  The success of your boys' water polo team is largely dependent on your willingness to get involved and help!
