Swimming Options during school in Offseason

Mr. Borek (Sports Med teacher/athletic trainer and former diving coach) is hosting a Swim/Aquatics class during school.  This class will have kids from various teams (water polo, swimming, diving, synchro, boys/girls).  I will be able to get Mr. Borek the swim workout for the day and he will administer it.

This is a great opportunity for especially those of our players who are playing different sport besides swimming in the spring.  You can now have the ability through this swim class to stay in good polo shape while you play baseball for example and play Legacy tourneys on some weekends even during your baseball, lacrosse, tennis, or golf season, etc.

I believe January 22nd is when you can begin signing up for this class.

Here's the deal.  If it does not get enough kids signed up for it, the class will be dropped.  So figure out a way to get it in your schedule.

Important:  Let me be clear however...this class does not take the place of swimming on the CHS team in the spring.  There is nothing that compares to the improvement you will gain from swimming on a competitive swim team.  I strongly encourage you to make the commitment to go out for the high school swim team if you want to see your polo game improve.  If you are swimming for Coach Rianda at CHS in the spring then this class will be a way to get a little extra yardage or you can do a lot eggbeater legwork.
