A great weekend...

All three teams were in action this weekend. The varsity traveled to our annual overnight tournament in Modesto. We played some pretty tough teams from the Central Valley. They grow 'em big down on the farm as they say. We played some big boys!! The varsity won 2 and lost 3. We're still focusing on growth in the fundamentals as many of our players are playing at the varsity level for the first time. Standouts were Dane Maughan, Zach Weston, Cole Stephan and sophomore Jay Lewis. All four combined for most of our scoring output and 2 meter offense and defense. Great defense was played by Russel Aldinger and Jakub Kristl in the cage. We had a lot of fun and are looking forward to improving upon what we learned during our 5 games.

The JV Round Robin sure seemed like a success!! Lots of parents and everyone looked like they got a ton of playing time. We are very lucky to have such great coaches on all levels. The parent help was awesome as well. Thanks to Larry Hamwey, Pat Regan, among many others who ran the clock, the books and pool setup. We will be doing this again on a Friday afternoon at the end of the month. The more you play, the better you learn this game.

Big game with Palma this week. Get ready! Lot's of hardwork needed before Thursday's big game. See you there.
