League Semi-Finals: Carmel 11 - RLS 4

What a game! The boys sure came to play tonight. They were in control from the first minute of play until the last. We are very proud of these guys. We now advance to the championship game versus 2x defending league champion Salinas. Game time is 5pm at Carmel High. We need everyone's support!

This was a total team effort. Ben Evered was sick and not able to attend, we missed his presence inside at 2 meters, but the boys persevered. Oustanding play was seen by all that touched the water tonight. Jakub Kristl was absolutely dominate in the cage tonight with 17 saves and 5 steals. Jay Louis played arguably his best game of the season and netted 5 goals. Zach Olpin also put forth his best effort of the season and had two huge goals. Nate Cohen had two as well. Romi Kristl, Ben Regan each had a goal and along with senior Kai Harper led the counterattack to perfection tonight. Sean Pickert was solid all night with a great defensive effort. Brady Hopkins shut down the 2 meter area on defense without a single ejection.

Solid effort boys. Congratulations, but no time to rest. The goal we've had since the end of last season is at hand. Win our first league championship in 30 years. We have a chance to make that goal a reality tomorrow. Same effort, same passion, same focus, get the job done. Thank you to all the parent and fan support! What an amazing loud and raucous crowd. Don't miss the championship game Saturday at 5pm!!
