This a great opportunity for those involved in Legacy. Another reason why Legacy is so beneficial. It's not just the practices, but you get the opportunity to play in tournaments in the offseason! What a great thing. Playing games is where you get to have fun and just play using the tools you've learned. Read over this forwarded email and respond quickly to your coaches at Legacy. We must make an improvement on CHS students not just being involved in Legacy during the week for practices, but making the commitment to play in tournaments. I unfortunately had multiple reports last year from Legacy coaches that numerous Carmel kids would sign up for tournaments, but not show up. Let's be better. Keep this in mind..."Decide, Commit, Succeed" This is applicable in so many facets of life. Decide what you want, commit to that desire, and see success result from that action.

To all Legacy players and families,

Our club has been invited to participate in a winter tournament in the Sacramento area on Saturday, January 30th. It is a one day tournament with a three game guarantee for each team entered. We will need to respond very quickly to this invitation. At this point we are asking for a tentative commitment from those who are interested and have availability on this date to attend a travel tourney. This is a fine opportunity to cap off a great winter season and use those skills in a competitive environment. A travel event like this takes a great commitment from our coaching staff and your families as well as some coordination for the travel aspect.

Please reply to this message no later than this Sunday, January 10, if you are interested in one of the age groups below. There is not a guarantee that we will have enough coaches or enough team members for each group - at this point we are polling the membership to determine interest and time commitment.
