Varsity Wins Homestead Tourney

The varsity went 3-0 over the weekend with wins over Aragon 17-12, Wilcox 9-8 (in overtime), and 9-6 over the host Homestead in the championship game.

Brett Luch was named the tournament's most valuable player while Wyatt Laughlin and Patrick Kelly were named to the All Tournament team.

Brett Luch, Wyatt Laughlin and Ethan Atkins led the team in scoring while also racking up many steals and assists.  Patrick Kelly was outstanding in the goal with 24 saves on the weekend.  Dylan Larson had a monster championship game with 3 clutch goals and a stellar defensive effort.  Another gutsy defensive performance was put in by Jackson Trapin who is still hampered with multiple injuries.  Freshman Kevin Auger added a big goal late in the game to extend the lead in the championship game.

We had a lot of fun and continue to learn a lot about ourselves.
