ATTEND A FREE TALK   BY 4 TIME OLYMPIAN, TONY AZEVEDO, JANUARY 18TH, 4:30PM Legacy Water Polo and Seaside Aquatics are very excited to announce that we are currently making plans to bring our two clubs closer together.  The combined emphasis on all things aquatics will have many benefits to all of our collective members.  You will not see any changes in your practices, coaches or club communications.  However, you will see more sharing of pool space and practices that are better coordinated.  In order to celebrate this exciting news, Legacy has invited all of the Legacy and Seaside Aquatics members to attend a free talk by Olympian Tony Azevedo. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to listen to an amazing athlete and a very humble individual speak about his achievements and resolve to be the best player in the world.  Azevedo will offer insights into his training, inspiration, and motivation to become a 5 time Olympian.  His story and presentation will relate to any athlete or student, who has the desire to achieve, it is not specific to water polo. Azevedo will be speaking to the Seaside Aquatics and Legacy Water Polo club members at 4:30pm, January 18 at Santa Catalina in a motivational presentation and a Q & A format.  . For both clubs this is a very positive change financially and otherwise. This alliance will allow water polo members to have better access to swim conditioning that meets the specific needs of their water polo training.  For our swim team members there will be opportunities to try out water polo.  For our youngest participants there are many benefits including the crossover of swim lessons and the Splashball programs.  For the older committed participants, opportunities to teach swimming or coach water polo will be available. Please look for more information coming out over the next few months, but for the time being, rest assured that this association will allow both Legacy and Seaside Aquatics to have better access to quality pool space and to work together to have the best aquatics program on the peninsula.    Do not miss this opportunity!
