We were told today that there will NOT be a bus for either day of the Watsonville tournament but there will be one for JV/frosh going to the Junipero Serra tourney. Therefore we need help from the certified freshman driving parents. Please let Dennise know if you can drive either day. If we don't have adequate transportation we will just send a travel team. The first game is at 4:50 but I was reminded and actually experienced this summer that traffic is VERY slow headed north on Highway 1 on a Friday evening. Therefore we are going to ask for an early release at 2:45 and will load the cars on the access road north of the school to avoid the bottleneck at CHS.

The frosh Watsonville Tournament is on 12/13 September. There will be two games on Friday and two on Saturday. Frosh play York at 4:50 and San Lorenzo Valley at 8:10 on Friday. Games on Saturday start at 10:00 and end at about 3:00. Opponents depend upon the outcome from Friday.
Address for Watsonville High is 250 E Beach ST, Watsonville, There is a gate fee for spectators ($5 adults, $3 seniors and students, $2 childern over 6). There will be a concession stand for food.
Very unusual but since Watsonville doesn't have polo teams any more we will need to provide a scorebook and score keeper for the 8:10 SLV game. Reason for some freshman parents step up to learn how to score.

Boosters is looking for help at football games again this year. The team gets $25/ student or parent for helping. With the frosh gone this weekend we would like to ask JV and varsity to participate as much as possible this Saturday. The next weekend is another game but both JV and frosh will be gone. The other possible dates are 9/19, 11/08 and 11/15. This is an easy fundraiser and I expect players get community service hours also. Thanks for your help.
