The Padres beat Palma 13-6 last night and advance to MBL Championship game vs. Soquel, Saturday at 5:15pm at Aptos High School. Aptos High School is the site where the Padres in 2012 beat Soquel in double overtime. Those that made the trip experienced one of the most exciting games you'll ever witness. We hope to do the same this year. Point is...Make the trip and support the boys :)
We had a great crowd last night. Tons of alumni and alumni families. It was great to see everyone.
After going down 2-1 early in the first quarter, they boys never wavered and maintained control throughout. Brett Luch led all scorers with 6 goals, Kaden Coombs, Wyatt Milne had two each and Harrison Whitaker, Evan Probasco and Kevan Auger each had 1. Newly called up JV goalie, Carter Whitaker was phenomenal in goal again holding Palma to just 6 goals.
