Tournament Thanks / Fall Survey / League Playoffs / Awards Ceremony

Another successful tournament, another appreciative round of thanks:

First off, a HUGE round of applause to Tim and Megan Auger.  Their pulled pork plates were delicious and a big hit!  
We are so lucky to have such a great family involved with CHS Water Polo. Thank you!
Hopefully they will bring their yummy food, generosity (and shade tents!) to next years’ tournament!

I am so thankful to my “SNACK SHACK” crew:  Lisa Cash, Helene Lubben, Charlotte Empey, Kim Muck, Tracy Coppinger, JoLynn Johnsson, Kimberly Whittaker, Mary Rice, Guzin Ditto, Mariangela Bissi, Amy & Rob Arnold, Cathy Giamanco and Aubrey Whitaker.

Special thanks goes to the “SNACK SHACK” bakers:  Hillet Botha, Kim Muck, Deborah Kimes, Alexis Delehanty and the wonderful generosity of Joe Johnsson’s Grandma. Everything was delicious!

The tournament literally could not happen with out my fabulous desk crew:  West Whittaker, Jim Airola, Dan Hopkins, Jenice Schultheis, Bill Douros, Mary and Garry Glaser, Todd Muck, Jerome Vandenbroucke, Deborah Kimes, Teresa Scattini, Marci Davis, Lisa Maughan and Cynthia Hertlein.

A reminder from a previous post: Varsity is taking the MANDATORY Fall Sports Survey Wednesday at lunch. JV and freshman it is also MANDATORY and can be taken in the computer lab Wednesday- Friday at lunch or Tuesday - Friday just after school. Get it taken care of.

The varsity faces Aptos at Aptos at 6pm on Tuesday in the first league playoff game. Bus departure time to be announced. Come and cheer them on. If the varsity wins they will play in the semi-finals vs. Santa Cruz (likely in Santa Cruz). THE SEASON IS ON THE LINE.  WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT ON TUESDAY!  League championship will be at CHS on Saturday afternoon.

A reminder that the Awards Desert Ceremony will be Friday 20 November at 6pm. This is a function for all teams and parents. Save the date to get your certificates/letters/awards/statistics, view this years video and say goodbye to this years seniors. We will also collect parkas so make sure you have yours and it is clean. More details to follow.
