Game Tuesday

Don't forget that our game against last years league champion Salinas is this coming Tuesday. JV plays at 3:30 and varsity at 4:30. Even though freshman are not playing we expect them at the games to cheer the teams on. Since we are the home team, we need to keep the official stats and our own team stats. Bill Stoffers will have a lineup for the varsity to do the stats but so far no JV or freshman parent has volunteered to get people signed up for JV stats. I will need 2, preferably 3 parents to do stats for the JV game at 3:30. We did some training this Saturday at Aptos so hopefully some of those parents will be able to help. Ed and I will be running the scoring/timing equipment for the varsity game. I can do the shot clock for JV but if someone familiar with running the scoring system is available that would be great. I start setting up the equipment at 2:30 so it someone is available I would be glad to train them of getting set up.

A reminder of the procedure we mentioned at the preseason meeting about alternate transportation from aways games or tournaments. A "Parent Permission for Alternate Transportation" form must be submitted at least 48 hours (preferably 72 hours) before the event to the CHS office. The form must be signed by the principal or his designee and a copy returned to the boys water polo mailbox before we leave for the game or tournament. We cannot release the player if we do not have a copy of the signed form.
