Legacy Water Polo
The Summer Season 2008
WHO: All age groups 8-years and older, boys and girls are invited to participate. It is recommended
that all participants have a solid background in swimming. Each participant must be currently
registered with US Water Polo; registration information is available at:
www.usawaterpolo.com
WHAT: Learn and practice skills necessary to be competitive in high school water polo and beyond.
WHERE: Practices will be held as follows:
Santa Catalina School (Salyer Aquatic Complex)
(New or less experienced players)
June 16-July 31: Monday through Thursday: 10:00 am to Noon and 6:00 to 8:00 pm
(Athletes are welcome to attend both practices if they wish)
California State University, Monterey Bay
(More experienced players)
May 26 through June 11: Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00 to 8:00 pm; Saturday 10 am-Noon
June 16 to July 31: Monday through Thursday 6:00 to 8:00 pm
COST: The cost per individual is $295 for high school/experienced players, and $220 for new and
Junior High/Middle School players. Family discounts (if more than one sibling) are available.
The coaching staff is comprised of local college, high school and club coaches. This summer’s staff includes
Gary Figueroa, Marlee Figueroa, Sherrie Vignau, Alex Davis (CSU Monterey Bay); Aaron Gaily (Carmel
High School) Jim Morton (Santa Catalina School); Ken Esaki (Monterey High School); Andrew Parolini
(Salinas High); Thad Sigourney (All Saints’ School), Jim Fannin (Stevenson High), plus other experienced
coaches.
