Both Varsity and JV teams lose to Soquel

Both teams lost tough games yesterday against perennial powerhouse Soquel.  The varsity lost 12-7 and the JV 11-2.

It is pretty typical for Carmel teams to start slowly.  This is due to still the large numbers of kids who play polo at Carmel High, but do not play with Legacy much during the offseason.

We have a lot of work to do on all levels to be competitive at the top and challenge for a championship again, but it CAN BE DONE!

We told the boys after the game yesterday.  "Trust the process", "We've been here before", "100% every day in practice and help each other get better every day"

Wishing the JV and Frosh a great weekend hosting our "Season Opener" tournament and our Varsity traveling to the Homestead tournament.

If you're a parent show up, ask if you can help, stay for the whole day and have fun.  Varsity parents...Cupertino is not that far of a drive :)  Suck it up :)
