Weekend Synopsis

It was a big week for water polo.  The JV/Frosh "Season Opener" tournament hosted at Carmel High was a huge success.  Tons of parents and fans were in attendance to watch and support our two teams.  The JV came in second place, losing in the finals to Division 1 school, Leland.  The Frosh nearly knocked off Valley Christian and did beat Division 1 Serra!  Congratulations boys and thank you to all the parents that helped.  Huge thank you to Kira Whitaker who along with the help of Nicole Saulnier and others manned the scorer's table all day (both had sons playing in Varsity tourney in Cupertino that day too.  Thank you for that sacrifice)

The Varsity lost to Serra 13-9 in the first game of the Homestead tourney in Cupertino, but followed that loss with resounding victories over Saratoga (15-2) and Christopher HS (21-10).  Everyone got lots of playing time and everyone on the team got a goal, except for the goalies of course.

Jack "Pancakes" Johnston and Ben Weber won the inaugural "SpikeBall" tourney on Saturday in dominating fashion.

It was a great weekend for all three teams!
